Yoga in Newcastle upon Tyne
A Modern Style of Yoga For a modern style of life
Whatever your level of Yoga experience I have a class for you! If you haven’t done yoga before I really recommend trying out the 8 Week Beginner’s course held Thursday evening in Jesmond, 18.00-19.15, starting 09/01/2020. And if you already have some experience in Yoga but want to turbocharge your practice – and learn how to go deeper – check out the 8 Week Intermediate course, Thursday evening in Jesmond, 19.30-21.00, starting on 09/01/2020.
For those looking to take the massive step of becoming a Yoga Teacher in 2020 check out my brand new 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course, starting in February! This is something I am immensely proud of, a culmination of every one of my 12 years of teaching – and a lifetime’s experience of growing and learning.
I teach Forrest Yoga in Newcastle to different levels and abilities, along with events and workshops through the year. My public classes cater for all levels of student with some specially tailored to beginners. Getting a firm grasp of the basics, with adequate support for all students, gives you the tools to enjoy Yoga for a lifetime. Whichever class you choose I can guarantee there will be something to challenge you, giving you the opportunity to grow.
Some of the classes I teach are specifically for those undergoing or recovering from cancer. I also offer a ‘pay as you feel’ donation class, to make Yoga available to everybody. Whatever your background or ability, this is part of Forrest Yoga’s mission and my personal objective; using Yoga to help improve the lives of those that need it – not just those that can afford it.
I am currently in the process of developing online tutorials for Forrest Yoga students, in addition to some other new project so watch this space!
